The Vanessa Long Dance Company (based in NYC) is seeking an intern to work directly with the VLDC's Artistic Director. Interns will learn the various aspects of running and growing a professional company. On occasion intern will work with Development Director to learn about the financial aspect of running a company. Opportunity to assist with upcoming performances and rehearsals can also be arranged. Internship would be from March 1st- September 1st, Interns can work from home.
The VLDC is also seeking a intern to work exclusivly with our Developement Director and Development Team from April 1st- September 1st. This internship would focus on the finacial aspect of the company including fundraising and grant writing.
The VLDC was founded in October 2014 but has gained increasing popularity in the public eye, performing over 52 performances in 2016, recieving several features in international and national magazines, and awards. We are seeking individuals who are motivated, and have a passion for Dance and Theatre.
