Announcing A New Program For All Lovers of Dance – a new way to experience the culture and friendly environment of Westchester’s premier institution of dance

Due to popular demand, Ballet des Amériques is opening its doors to all lovers of dance with a new General Program. The program is ideal for students who want to be part of the professional environment of Ballet des Amériques, while learning to appreciate the art of classical dance.

The General Program offers classes in ballet technique, jazz, and Afro-Caribbean dance for students ages 3-18. Students will learn classical movement, terminology, etiquette, and work ethic. The school, based in the European tradition, encourages students to work to their full potential in a positive, warm and friendly environment. Students and their families will experience the benefits of our educational philosophy of cultivating not only well-rounded dancers, but also well-rounded individuals.

Under the direction of Carole Alexis, the Head of the General Program is Irene Przywara, a Company Dancer and Ballet Teacher at Ballet des Amériques. Current members of the Ballet des Amériques faculty are teaching the General Program classes.

The new program is now open for registration. We invite you to visit our website to view the schedule and choose your classes:
