LEIMAY LUDUS Winter Intensive is envisioned by Artistic Director Ximena Garnica as a laboratory for developing and sharing an instinctive, conscious, and rigorous way to cultivate a performer’s body.The LEIMAY LUDUS Winter Intensive will focus on exploring some aspects of Tatsumi Hijikata’s butoh-fu through the teachings transmitted to artistic director Ximena Garnica by one of his dancers, the late butoh dancer Yukio Waguri.
