LEONARDO SANDOVAL TEACHES MASTER CLASS IN HARLEM 7/13
WHAT: Leonardo Sandoval, famous tap dancer, choreographer and member of Dorrance Dance Company, will offer a master class, performance and Q&A to NYC public school children. The master class will provide these students – most of whom come from low income and underserved communities – the opportunity of a lifetime to learn choreography and artistry from Leonardo.
WHO: Over 100 children, ages 9 – 15, selected from NDI’s NYC partner schools participate in the NDI Summer Institute, a four-week scholarship program that furthers their exposure to music and movement. No child pays a penny to participate!
