From Concept to Production: An evening with Alison Cook Beatty Dance will begin at 7PM with a reception of free drinks and hors d'oeuvre. Art work and choreographic journal entries created by Alison and inspiration behind the works presented on the program that evening will be on display for people to view till 8PM.

The program, beginning at 8PM, will include an inside look at the concepts and ways in which the dances were crafted and the tools in which Alison used out of the inspiration behind these works. Alison and the dancers will demonstrate and explain these concepts together and show the process leading up to the work itself.

The evening will include a full studio performance of three works. You will see a NEW WORK, a reconstructed work that has gone through three transitional changes, and a solo work that has had several transformations over a two-decade span. There will be a brief question and answer session with the dancers and Alison to end the evening. Don't miss this special evening of the inner workings of the artist's soul.
