Gushue Moving Arts returns to Triskelion Arts to wrestle with how to move forward when you inevitably find yourselves, your dancers, and your audience in a miserable situation. The program will include the follow-up to Rebecca Gushue’s 2016 "Hen Haus", "Stonefruit."

"Stonefruit" is an improvisational score that demands the attention and response of three women to the political posturing and placements that threaten their power and authority. They push and pull real and metaphorical boulders to evolve, erode, and erase each other from the space.

The evening will also include a new duet by Charles Gushue and Robert Daniel Holmes Maynard, "An incomplete collection of things #notallmen do". Everything Charles and Robert have ever done is something that #notallmen do, so at the very least, this title will be accurate. It may include crossfit, drag, sexual coercion, and Celine Dion. Robert and Charles will also be joined by special guest Leslie Rogers.

Gushua Moving Arts is made up of co-directors, Charles Gushue and Rebecca Sproul Gushue, as well as the various artists and collaborators that move in and out of their work. For their New York Season at Triskelion Arts, this includes New York City based dancers Jenna Hanlon, Sarah Morrill, and Kristi Ann Schopfer; Michigan performance artist Leslie Rogers; and D.C. choreographer and performer Robert Daniel Maynard Holmes.
