The first annual Fall Blaze is a celebration of movement featuring some of the most talented young dancers from the HSA Dance Ensemble and HSA Dance Junior Ensemble.  The program will feature choreography by HSA Dance Director Aubrey Lynch II and Resident Choreographer Leyland Simmons. Special guest on the program include, HSA Dance alumni, Khayr Muhammad and a member of the corps de ballet of the American Ballet Theatre, Erica Lall. 

The program will include the World Premiere of a new piece, “In Search of Our Mothers Gardens”, a work inspired by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Alice Walker’s 1983 timeless classic.  This piece explores feminism from the perspective and experiences of women of color. 

Also, experience the World Premiere of "In Search of our Mothers Gardens”, a new work inspired by the writings of Alice Walker that celebrates the involvement of women of color within the feminist movement.  

The Fall Blaze Dance Concert will be Hosted by Jordan Hall 
(HSA Alumnus, Matilda, Disney's The Lion King National Tour, Motown The Musical)
