TU Dance presents Stefanie Batten Bland's
41 times

World Premiere
November 17-19

Join Minneapolis' TU Dance Artistic Directors Toni Pierce-Sands and Uri Sands at The O’Shaughnessy in Saint Paul, as TU Dance opens its 14th performance season with an evening of new works.

This year’s performance includes a world premiere by New York choreographic artist Stefanie Batten Bland, commissioned by The O’Shaughnessy in a shared bill featuring work by Marcus Willis, Ron Brown, and Uri Sands.

41 times, a full-company dance theatre and interactive installation work, honors the 1999 killing of Amadou Diallo by New York City police officers through sound, and the visual and physical arts.  The work reflects on the systemic patterning and pain of racial profiling, offering the audiences and performers to engage in a body tracing performance activity to support unity and healing.

Friday's and Saturday's shows begin at 8pm, and Sunday's matinee begins at 2pm.  Tickets are on sale here for $22-$34.
