Rome native Alessandra Belloni, named "One of the best percussionists in the world" by DRUM! Magazine, and her Southern Italian ensemble I Giullari di Piazza, join forces with the Native American SilverCloud Singers and Dancers and Kevin Nathaniel for a program of Southern Italian, Native American, and African percussion music for a journey back in time into a world of ritual drumming, vocals and trance dances. Program will include Tarantellas, work chants, African ritual drumming from the Yoruba tradition, and Native American ritual singing and drumming.
