Four performances, June 1-3, honoring the beloved Blossom

 

The artistry of Beverly Blossom (1926-2014) will be celebrated with live performances, a panel discussion, guest artists, and rarely seen films at the 92nd Street Y, June 1-3.   Writing in The New York Times, Jennifer Dunning described Blossom as "a daring, vividly imaginative solo performer....one of the most distinguished - and zaniest - solo performers in modern dance."  (Blossom obituary, November 3, 2014)

Friday June 1 at Noon - part of "Fridays at Noon" series
Some never before seen footage, a short selection of live works, and a panel discussion with Ruth Grauert, Phyllis Lamhut, Gladys Bailin, and others
