LOOK + LISTEN FESTIVAL: PRE-CONCERT PERFORMANCE by EMMA SULKOWICZ & SEAN HAROLD

SATURDAY APRIL 21, 7:00PM – PERFORMANCE – Emma Sulkowicz and Sean Harold will present a new composition for the electric guitar, percussion, and stereo-fixed media. Blending performance with percussion, Sulkowicz’s actions will feed Harold’s music, causing it to morph throughout the piece. This will culminate first in a disintegration of these tasks and sounds, before resurrecting them in a moment of catharsis.
The performance is a part of the 2018 Look + Listen Festival held at The Invisible Dog Art Center on Saturday April 21 at 8:00pm. Look + Listen Festival is an annual event dedicated to presenting contemporary music in contemporary art galleries. The event seeks to expand and engage audiences by providing a unique opportunity to simultaneously experience a stimulating visual environment for new music and a vibrant aural context for visual art.
