June 18 – June 30, 2019  Presented by Clark Center NYC

Opening Reception: Tues, June 18, from 6 pm to 8 pm
Gallery Hours: M-F, 12 pm to 8 pm, Sat/Sun 12 pm to 6 pm
Art-making Workshop for all: Sat, June 22 from 12 to 2 pm
Artist Talk: Sun, June 23 at 2 pm

All events are free and open to the public

 

Through the lens of dance and the imagination of visual artists, this exhibition will highlight dance through space, shared culture and movement.  Featuring dance-inspired paintings, prints, and photographs ranging from realistic to abstract art, “Let’s Face the Music” will highlight the legacy of Clark Center and address the impact dance has had on the artists’ lives and work.
