YULI: The Carlos Acosta Story

The 20th HFFNY will conclude on April 16th at the DGA Theater, with a celebration of world-renowned Cuban ballet dancer and choreographer Carlos Acosta. Our closing night features a special screening of Yuli (2018), the poignant feature film of Acosta’s life and a fundraiser presented by both Acosta’s U.S. Foundation, TIPAF, and AFLFC. VIP Tickets include a private cocktail reception before Yuli and the after-party at an exclusive location, and the chance to meet Carlos Acosta. Money raised goes to supporting Acosta Danza's 3-year Dancers-in-Residence Program, offered to a select group of talented, emerging dancers of limited means from around the globe.
