caitlin+dancers and Kaley Pruitt Dance will share an NYC season June 1 & 2. Each company will present 1 work from repertoire and 1 world premiere. These two quickly emerging NYC-based modern dance companies share a commitment to bold work that unravels and simultaneously weaves new perceptions of the world around us.
Pruitt is re-staging Limitless and premiering a new duet titled, Like Minds. The first work was created and workshopped with Pruitt’s students at Illinois State University and this June will be the company and NYC premiere. Like Minds will be performed by Kaley Pruitt and company dancer Megan Wubbenhorst. caitlin+dancers will present the popular Gifts for the Void (2016), a trio that has been performed up and down the East Coast, and premiere Variations on a Ghost, a duet flavored by Edwardian fads.
