TDE: How did you start working for The Dance Enthusiast?

Melanie Greene: I shared one audience review back in 2014 and was later referred by a friend in 2015.

TDE: How long have you been working for The Dance Enthusiast?

Melanie Greene: 3 1/2 years!

TDE: What do like about writing for The Dance Enthusiast?

Melanie Greene: I enjoy seeing work and being in an artistic community and a conversation sparked by dance works.

TDE: What are your favorite stories?

Melanie Greene: My favorite stories are the ones that peel back layers to an artist's process. I enjoy getting to know their work from an intimate perspective or point of view.

TDE: What's a fun fact about you?

Melanie Greene: I find crocheting cathartic and I love candy, biscuits, and collard greens (not necessarily all together)!

TDE: What's on the horizon for you?

Melanie Greene: I'll be presenting an evening-length work, Sapphire, May 16-17, 2019 at Brooklyn Studios for Dance. Stay tuned at www.methodsofperception.com
