Freeform Review:

Thank you Seymour::Dance Collective for being funky, intriguing, uninhibited, and truly entertaining. It was a visual treat. The Moving Beauty series was my first introduction to Chafins' work  and after this experience I will definitely follow his work and company. The work presented was corky yet technical and just plan riveting. The work presented entitled "Milieux" was a montage of eclectic sounds that the audience could immediately connect to. The choreographic vocabulary also pulled from a multitude of sources creating a unique and corky style of movement. While each dancer brought something to the stage the girl in the short overalls and the girl in the red pants seemed to steal the show. Their performance and movement quality was both fluid and strong. Cheers to Chafin and his dancers for creating such interesting visually pleasing work!
