Have you ever seen this company/ before?
Tell us a bit about your history with this group/performer?
I've admired Gerald Casel's work for some time now and have presented it at my Soaking WET series at the West End Theater in NYC.

Why did you go to the show? What did you expect to see?

What was your favorite moment(s)? What inspired you?
Gerald's new work was particularly subtle and full of elusive emotional texture.  The dancing for three men in Fluster  featured shifts in scale from large movement to tiny, enigmatic gestural details with fleeting passages of unison and sustained stillness.  A hint of erotic mystery swirled around the piece though the 3 men remained quite self possessed for the entire time.  The more focus the performers gave to their actual physical tasks, the more the piece seemed to swell with psychological import.  This same mysterious connection between emotional suggestion and straightforward non-referential movement was also evident in the more florid language used for women performers in Fluster.

Describe as plainly and as specifically as you can what you actually saw. We are going for description without judgement.
There is no need for complete sentences, phrases and word lists are fine. You can describe these elements or anything you can think of: the artists, the kinds of movement, the qualities of the movement, the use of the stage/space, the musicality/timing...

Do any images, colors or feelings pop into your head when you think about this show?

Describe any or all of these elements: music, lighting, the venue. - How did they contribute (or not) to your enjoyment of this performance?

Would you like to see this performance / company again? Would you recommend it to a friend?
Why or why not?

What would you like to have seen more of? Less of?

If you could, what would you ask the choreographer / dancers?
