Premiere of Let’s Get Tangled
A new work choreographed by Jessy Smith and the ladies of POW!
Dance Theater Workshop
July 14th and 15th, 2008


For this new POW project, the girls and I received a grant from the Gotham Arts Exchange that not only provided monetary assistance, but also technical guidance that was much appreciated. I was assigned both a video editor, who created 3 new videos for the company, and a blog manager who helped me learn about the world of online communications! The performance was a thrill, especially due to the beautiful mix of choreographers including Sydney Skybetter, Camille Brown, and Jacob Peter Kovner. Both nights we closed the show with Let’s Get Tangled (pictured here) and I just filled up with pride backstage watching my colorful skittles come to life with such theatrical gusto. Bravo ladies!
