Summer Snapshot: Vicky Virgin - Salt Lake, The Ballet

"I wanted to make a piece about desire-the kind of desire that makes women lose their minds and kill their babies. It is a universal theme as old as time.
Had fear taking on the topic for all of the obvious reasons. Somewhere along the way, it was pointed out to me that I was salting my granny smith apples. I mean, doesn't everyone salt their granny smith apples? It was then that I realized the extent of my desire for those beautiful little white crystals. Well... as they say, the rest is history."
