New York Premiere of Thea Little's newest choreography Little Miss-Communication presented by Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation and Chez Bushwick at 100 Bogart on Friday, January 19th at 7:30pm.

A group of animated and exquisite dancers perform an array of characterizations from the poetic to the absurd. They communicate through misty oceans. They connect and disconnect under ambition. They sing a ritualistic song while forming common languages of ink and individual languages of ambition. They enjoy group harmony and interaction and become fossils in their geometric patterns. See the performers communally navigate the challenges of communication with 7 "characters" per performers as the base vocabulary. Orchestra patterns, geometry,  oceans and various kinds of singing.

Thea Little's work often includes her performers’ stories and visceral expressions. Explorations from games and improvisations in rehearsals are sometimes integrated into the choreography. This sets the tone for an intimate and open space where the audience is invited to enter a world of sharing and exploring.
