Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet
Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in two world premieres: one abstract ballet to music by J.S. Bach, and the second a collaboration with the Ekmeles vocal ensemble. Singers Charlotte Mundy, Mary Elizabeth MacKenzie and Elisa Sutherland will interact with the dancers while performing music by Karin Rehnqvist and Kaija Saariaho, whose opera "L'amour de loin" was recently performed by the Metropolitan Opera. Dancers are Sarah Atkins, Elizabeth Brown, Kristine Butler, Traci Finch, and Amber Neff. Musicians are pianist Melody Fader and violinist Doori Na.
