Fundraising Event with excerpts from La Cantata Dei Pastori,  a Neapolitan Renaissance Christmas concert featuring La Befana
(the Italian Christmas Witch), the Archangel Gabriel (on stilts), and the Italian Commedia dell'Arte character Razzullo.

Production stars:
*Alessandra Belloni as Mary
*Mark Mindek at Gabriel
*Max McGuire as La Befana
*Giuseppe de Falco as the commedia dell'arte character Razzullo
The well-loved Cantata Dei Pastori follows the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem, and the birth of Jesus.  Along the way, the couple encounters dragons, devils, and the hilarious commedia dell'arte character Razzullo.   Written by A. Perrucci in the 16th century, the play has been adapted and directed by Alessandra Belloni with assistance from Naples native Giuseppe de Falco, where Cantata is still performed annually in the streets of Naples and other Southern Italian towns.  Music is by John La Barbera.
