West African with Yah’Ya Kamate
Wednesday, June 22
This introductory-level dance class is a high-spirited, high-powered rhythmic dance experience and is for anyone who loves to dance. The class brings together body, mind, and spirit in an energetic traditions of West Africa. Class will feature live drumming. Loose fitting attire and barefeet suggested. Women are encouraged to wear an African print wrap/sarong tied at the waist, which can be purchased at The Ailey Boutique. All levels welcome!
GingaFlex with Tiba

Be the first to try this new technique! GingaFlex, an energetic and fun fitness program based on the Brazilian dance/martial art form of Capoeira, offers an intense, challenging, and mindful full-body workout. This dynamic program increases core strength, flexibility, and balance. Burning calories is a bonus! This is an open class and no prior experience is needed.
Hip-Hop with Kevin Belisario
Monday, June 20 & Wednesday, June 22
2:00pm – 3:30pm

Class will focus on fluid movement sequences that will engage the entire body. Kevin will accompany this upper body movement with complex footwork that requires the students to be aware of their weight distribution at all times. Students will also work on the balance of performing physical movement, but striving to make it seem effortless. The goal is to challenge every dancer at every level. Kevin has worked with choreographers such as Christopher Huggins, Donald McKayle, SuperDave, Rennie Harris and Wade Robson.
