Carolyn Dorfman Dance will be premiering a new work on Saturday, April 14th at NJPAC in collaboration with Pilobolus. There will also be a matinee performance on Sunday, April 15th at 2:00.
The new work: Snap, Crackle, Pop was created through a collaborative process that included artistic director Carolyn Dorfman, Renee Jaworski (former Carolyn Dorfman Dance company member and now co-artistic director of Pilabolus) and Carolyn Dorfman Dance's 11-member company. The themes explored are familiar to both companies: that of human connection across time and space- but their collaborative process produced a piece that uniquely showcases how two distinct companies can merge their styles in expressing their views on a common topic.
