Open Dance Ensemble presents "The Dancer Body"
Open Dance Ensemble
"The Dancer Body" explores the relationships between dancers and the body they inhabit. Although the body is the dancer's means to create art it can be regarded as a flawed vessel unable to attain perfection. "The Dancer Body" challenges this position and, in a moving performance, celebrates confidence, the power of self-love, and body positivity. The message extends beyond dance to everybody.
