PHILADELPHIA, PA: Kun Yang Lin Dancers at the Summer Sunset Series
The 10-member ensemble of dance artists, described by audiences as “a balm for the soul” will interweave diverse experiences of dance, music, and guided movements for audiences to experience, witness and join in on. Inspired by the spirit of the ¼ mile section of Phase One of the Rail Park, audiences will find the dance artists located in 2 separate areas, performing simultaneously and allowing viewers to determine which performance to watch or switch between. The performance places emphasis on self-discovery, new journeys and being present. Towards the end of the performance, artists and audiences will meet in the middle of the Rail Park for a closing movement meditation, instilling a sense of common ground and appreciation for nature.
