STRANGE HUMORS– COMPANY PREMIERE
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12TH
Artistic Director Robert Battle sets his thrillingly intense duet, Strange Humors, on the Company this season. This riveting premiere pits two men against each other in surprising sequences that ignite with aggression and discord as the relationship between the two dancers builds to an exciting crescendo. Strange Humors is set to a propulsive score for strings and African drum by composer John Mackey, a fellow Juilliard classmate of Mr. Battle.
