Take a journey back in time with renowned percussionist Alessandra Belloni, called "a force of nature" in the L.A. Times, and a remarkable group of percussionists/vocalists/dancers for "Drums of Illumination," a program of ritual drumming, vocals, and trance dances. Joining Belloni and her Southern Italian group I Giullari di Piazza are members of the SilverCloud Singers and Dancers (Native American) and Kevin Nathaniel (African percussion). A celebration of the Winter Solstice and uniting of three great cultures.
