Capezio A.C.E. Award Winners Festival, a four night festival celebrating emerging choreographers and dancers, runs August 5th August 8th at Ailey Citigroup Theater (405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue). For the first time in the competitions history, all three top prizes for choreographic excellence were awarded to women. They will make their New York debut with a series of inspiring and provocative works that celebrate contemporary and theatrical dance. The Melinda Sullivan Dance Project will open the festival with Gone, an original tap dance experience, followed by Dania Foglia Dance Companys theatrical piece I amWe Are and Bree Hafens emotionally driven Positive Space".
