After nearly two decades as a member of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Regina Advento presents her first independent solo project. “Dreamlines” is a manifestation of fantasy, creativity and artistic liberation. With the idea for a solo piece, Regina developed her performance in the rehearsal room interacting with the camera, analyzing images, and making artistic choices along the way. The theme is based on Regina’s personal reflections linked to her Brazilian ancestry. The style is influenced by Pina, yet represents Regina’s individual physical expression.
