PHILADELPHIA, PA: BalletX's 2018 Annual Gala: The Premier Party
BalletX Annual Gala: The Premier Party
A Celebration of World Premiere Choreography
SKY Philadelphia, Thursday, March 22
WHAT: On Thursday, March 22, 2018, BalletX, Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet and resident dance company of The Wilma Theater, will hold its annual fundraising gala, The Premier Party at SKY Philadelphia. This year BalletX and co-chairs Rebecca Malcolm-Naib and Gloria Katsiff celebrate the company’s new home, a Center for World Premiere Choreography, opening Spring 2018.
Christine Cox, Artistic & Executive Director and Co-Founder of BalletX, says “This is quite possibly our biggest and most important Premier Party yet, as we begin a whole new chapter in the BalletX adventure by opening our very own rehearsal studios in Philadelphia.”
The Premier Party kicks off at 6:00pm and runs until 10:30pm, with a VIP Reception for event Sponsors from 5:30pm to 6:00pm, featuring a special toast with the Artistic Team, BalletX dancers, and special guests. The main event includes cocktails and seated dinner, wine tasting by Moore Brothers Wine Company, Live Auction, and a Barsky Diamond raffle prize, and features an intimate performance by very special guests, as well as exclusive one-night-only choreography presented by the dancers of BalletX themselves.
All proceeds from The Premier Party directly support BalletX’s Philadelphia home season, and the company’s mission to produce original works that expand the vocabulary of classical dance for all audiences.
BalletX gratefully acknowledges the generosity of our Premier Party Presenters and Sponsors: Right Recruiting, Alan Palmer, Mary Kirson and Robert Bierman, and Rebecca Malcolm-Naib.
Additional sponsors include SKY Philadelphia, Victory Brewing Company, Freeman’s Auction, and Moore Brothers Wine Company.
Event tickets start at $350 and are limited. To purchase tickets or sponsorship packages, please visit balletx.org/premierparty or call 215-893-9456 x100.
