We spent two glorious weeks at Dance Base during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We were invited for a 12 performance run of "Haunted," featuring live music by the fabulous Leah and Chloe Smith of Rising Appalachia and Kofi Dennis and exquisite lighting by Catherine Eliot.

We were thrilled by the opportunity for such a long run and absolutely love Dance Base - if you are ever in Edinburgh check out these gorgeous studios! We got some great press too - here's a quote:

"The dancing is precise and inventive, the dancers remarkably in tune with each other. Some of their contortions and leaps have an unnerving, inhuman grace... the finely honed performances are a testament to an experienced and cohesive cast... WithHaunted, Dance Box Theater proved to a European audience they are a solid and professional dance ensemble. Anyone looking for some ghostly move-busting should give them a call." - fest THEATER REVIEW

Back home, we are preparing for the debut of our new work, "Affectations," commissioned by John F. Kennedy Center Local Dance Commissioning Project to premiere on the Millennium Stage October 21 and 22, 2010.
