AboutThe Dance Enthusiast: A Moving Arts ProjectThe Dance Enthusiast is a unique portal for NYC dance on the web. We support dance by creating content for dancers, with dancers, about dancers. We write,we photograph, we video, we communicate in as many ways as we can about our field on this wonderful tool -the internet. We search for new ways to create conversation about the art form because we love it. We encourage others to join us on this site and share their opinions, insights, and expertise because we believe deeply that communication about dance- other than what happens on the stage- will keep our art form vital. Our stories are important. Our words are important. Nothing can re-create the experience of live dance, the power of movement, the energy of performance, but the fact is that Dance Disappears and Words Do Not. The time to write, to talk, to share, to communicate is NOW. Share, become involved, communicate with enthusiasm. The Dance Enthusiast is a project of Moving Arts Projects.
