Kathy Dunn Hamrick Dance Company, one of Austin’s longest-standing modern dance companies and recipient of multiple awards from the Austin Critics Table, premieres “Be Still, My Heart,” an evening-length dance, at Rollins Theatre in The Long Center. Recognized for its masterful choreography, athletic and expressive dancing, and meaningful movement, the company opens its 19th season with a nostalgic nod to cinema. This new work is in collaboration with lighting and set designer Stephen Pruitt and will feature an original score and live music by Drew Silverman.
