Bushwick Open Studios - BOS is an arts and culture festival hosted by Arts in Bushwick. This celebration of our neighborhood’s vibrant community and local art scene is free and open to the public. BOS has been running since 2006 and is New York’s largest open studios event, encouraging thousands of Bushwick-based artists to open their doors and share their work.

Dance Master Class
with performer and educator Sara Procopio
: In this studio laboratory class, we will begin with exercises that encourage an opening of the energetic channels of the body. The warm-up focuses on charging the body in preparation for exercises and phrase work investigating breath, flow, suspension, center-shifting, bouncing, momentum, spirals and joint rotations. Special focus will be placed on finding flow with detailed attention on transitions and floor work. Together we will explore and cultivate tools to engage our daily dance practice in new ways.
