Join us for a celebration of Diversity in the Dance styles we teach as well as the diversity among us at this unique dance filled event. Performances will include dances of ballet, contemporary, hip hop and a living statues composition about the differences between us, and our shared humanity. There will even be a swing dance lesson! We will have food, wine and beer, a photo booth, and an incredibly diverse silent auction of fabulous prizes for dancers including dance wear, classes and workshops, yoga and massage, plus items for fun like drink tickets, art, books, and a girls night out package. Proceeds will benefit donation based dance studio Liberated Movement. We are changing the way dance classes are taught - offering open level classes in a welcoming environment taught from a place of joy, not judgement. We are creating a Liberated Movement.
