Silver Linings: Triumph of Loss is a multidisciplinary dance piece that explores our perspectives of loss. The work examines how individual loss and categorical loss can be reimagined by focusing on healing and joyful celebration of what we can gained. Drawing from movements of the African Diaspora fueled by a remixed pledge of allegiance, a dynamic trio is forever changed by this ritual of joyous sharing, coming to understand that loss has made them more brilliant.
The Dixon Place Lounge is open before and after the show, and you can bring your drink in the theater! Bar proceeds directly support DP’s artists and mission.
