Nicole Assanti has been a Resident Artist at Cora Dance since September of 2017. This event is a showing of the work she has created through this residency.

Nicole Assanti creates work with her company, Nikki and The Noise, about the anticipation of crisis. Using a lavish amount of contemporary partnering, idiosyncratic movement invention, and influence from pop-culture, the company explores support and structure, and how to manage when those fall out from under us.

The company will perform two new works, with a brief 10 minute intermission between:

When the lights go out, will you take me with you?
Performed by Shannon Healey, Kailey McCrudden, Adrianne Ansley, Maggie Beutner, and Lea Torelli

EMO DANCES
Performed by Adrianne Ansley, Maggie Beutner, Shannon Healey, Chloe London, Kailey McCrudden, and Lea Torelli

There will be a reception after the second show- please stay to drink some wine and celebrate with us!
