Have you ever seen this company/ before?
Tell us a bit about your history with this group/performer?
Brian and I are colleagues. He's someone I trust to comment on my work in progress.
We are movement cousins--both of us like to use physicality to speak volumes.
Why did you go to the show? What did you expect to see?
Brian works with his brain and the body managing to use abstraction in physicality in a way that is visually and viscerally evocative. The virtuosity of his choreography and heroic dancers is not purely for entertainment; it evokes something real, human, moving.
What was your favorite moment(s)? What inspired you?
Inspired, I wanted to walk sideways on the wall when I got home.
