Chris Dohse

Chris Dohse has written about dance and the arts for 20 years. During that time he has been a Senior Critic for danceinsider.com and an NEA Arts Journalism Fellow. His critical writing and journalism have appeared in New York Press, Dance Magazine, The Village Voice and The New York Times. From 1988 to 1996, Dohse directed a Tanztheater company called Toothmother in Baltimore. He holds an MA in Performance Studies from NYU. He has performed as a dancer and actor in works by many artists.
