elena rose light
elena rose light (they/them) is a choreographer, performer, and writer pursuing a joint PhD in English/Theater and Performance Studies at the University of Chicago, where they were named a Neubauer Family Distinguished Doctoral Fellow for their promise in the field. Their choreographic work has been presented across the USA and Europe at Berliner Ringtheater, Kunstler*innenhaus Mousonturm, and Abrons Arts Center, among other venues. Recently, they have been developing movement research for a new project by Xavier Le Roy and expanding their movement practice and critical writing exploring trans somatics.
