Tom Phillips (he, him, his) is a New York writer, journalist and critic. He has covered music, dance, theater, film and art for the New York Times, CBS News, the Toronto Star, Village Voice, Rolling Stone, Jazz & Pop, DanceView, danceviewtimes, etc. Before you were born, he studied Modern Dance at the New Dance Group Studio and ballet with Alfredo Corvino. His memoir, "A Beginner's Life" was published in 2015.
