Hedwig Dances seeks professional dancers for its 2023 season with a special call for dancers who identify as male. All dancers who audition need to have a strong background in modern, ballet, partnering and somatic techniques, as well as improvisation experience.
Hedwig Dances integrates a strong visual art and design aesthetic into its stage work, including projections, set design and objects.

Our season includes annual performances in Chicago and potential touring. Rehearsals begin in January, 2023. Dancers must be available 12-15 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the day for rehearsals.
