Since 2022, sarAika movement collective—a New York-based contemporary dance company led by Aika Takeshima and Sara Pizzi—has brought bold, joyful, and radically inclusive performances to one of the world’s most significant Pride events, NYC PRIDE MARCH.
This year marks our 4th annual NYC Pride performance, and we’re going even bigger!

We’re building a 70+ person performance team filled with dancers, drag performers, musicians, and divers styles of performers—and we want YOU to join the celebration.
✨WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Dancers & Movers:
No pressure—just high energy, fun, and community! You’ll learn a few easy choreography sections (sent via video), groove with colorful ribbons, and jam to live music. Walk, dance, smile—bring the vibes! - Drag Artists:
Serve looks. Be fabulous. Walk, have fun, and dance if you want! - Specialty Performers:
Got a wow-factor? Baton, stilt walking, acrobatics? We want to hear from you.
