DANCE EVENTS ON THE 13TH ANNUAL LATIN AMERICAN CULTURAL WEEK
The Latin American Cultural Week (LACW) returns to New York for its 13th annual celebration of the rich variety of Latin American Dance, Theater, Music, Film, Literature, and Visual Arts. The dozens of events will be held in venues throughout Manhattan and the boroughs. LACW is presented by PAMAR (Pan American Art Research), founded by Polly Ferman. The 2018 LACW highlights women artists of the Americas, in support of the #MeToo and #YoTambien movements. (For a full schedule of events, November 13-21, please visit www.lacw.net.)

If you want to have an introduction to the world of Tango, come and dance with us. From the first steps to advanced sequences. You can experience the magic of tango by the hand of two professional dancers from Argentina. (All levels are welcome).

WOMEN IN TANGO: WOMEN'S WORKOUT
Join us in this Argentine tango session. Come and learn more about the elegant role of women in tango. This is a dance lesson designed to explore the technique with focus on developing each dancer’s individual’s strengths and characteristics and contributions to the dance. The principal objective will be dancing with ease and musicality, being able to follow the leader but also to bring personality to the dance floor. (All levels are welcome).

Tango and Date Class for couples of any gender. Learn how tango opens the door to communication, body awareness, and sensuality. A perfect afternoon with your date as you take your first steps together in this intricate dance, made accessible by the brilliant teaching of master dance teachers Sergio Segura and Natalie Laruccia, two of the “greats” in contemporary tango teaching.

An intensive two hour crash course for people who want to learn the challenging - yet ACHIEVABLE! - basics of tango in one day. Students will be introduced to the basics they need in order to dance with elegance and style. This course will be taught by Sergio Segura and Natalie Laruccia
