We are very excited to bring in french Choreographer/Director and Broadway dance teacher Angel Kaba of Steps on Broadway for her first Focus Master Class with Simple Studio in NYC. Angel is one of the newest member of the dance faculty at Steps On Broadway. She worked with amazing artists and brands such as Rihanna, Coolio, Kayne West, The City of New York, Coca Cola, Levi's,L'Oreal...

The Master Class's Program:
- 1h Hip Hop dance choreography.
- 30min Seminar "what it takes to be in the business?" through step by step instructions, Q&A and internationnal life experience.
- 1h Video will be made during the master class and each participant will have a professional headshot directed by April Pabón & Kahleem Poole-Tejada.

ABOUT ANGEL
Artistic/Creative Director, choreographer and dance teacher Angel Kaba began her artistic career with ballet at the tender age of 6, which she pursued for more than 15 years. She also studied music theory and theater at the Music Academy of Brussels in Belgium. Beside her artistic path, she graduated with honors in Marketing from a business school in 2005. In 2006, she started working on her first musical entitled "Elya's Dream". By then, she had already founded her own performance company, Contre-Tendance. Her primary goal is to train artists and to create opportunities for them to express themselves on stage. "Believe in your dreams and try hard to reach them" is the leitmotif she keeps repeating to her company's artists.

ABOUT APRIL
April Pabon was born in New York City, NY in 1985. She received her BFA in Photography, from the School Of Visual Arts in New York, concentrating on Portraiture and Fashion. Her Portrait work has been exhibited in several local galleries in the New York City area (Brooklyn, East Harlem, Lower East Side and Chelsea). She was a recipient of the Center Of Arts Education Internship program, School of Visual Arts Mentor program mentee and Awarded the Association of Hispanic Arts Inc. (AHA) artist grant. Her meticulous eye has pulled her into the video/film production world, taking on roles such as first AC, Art Director and Creative Director. April resides and works in New York City.

ABOUT KAHLEEM
As a Cinematographer and Director, Kahleem Poole-Tejada began as a comic book illustrator, indie animator and in the game development field. Admiring the works of Ernest Dickerson, Marin Scorsese, Matthew Libatique, and Roger Deakins, he has married his soul to filmmaking, leading him to work in narrative films, commercials and as a post-production colorist. With additional passionate interests in E-Sports, Motorsports, martial arts and fashion, the flavor of his NY Bronx-bred-world reflects in every frame. From lens to post."
