French choreographer Thierry Thieû Niang is back to Brooklyn for a free summer workshop open to professional and non-professional from all ages.

Join us for an unforgettable summer workshop with renowned French choreographer Thierry Thieû Niang. This exciting opportunity invites participants of all ages whether you're a professional or simply have a passion for movement. Get ready to delve into the world of contemporary dance and explore your creative potential.

 

Workshop Schedule:

You can apply to participate to one session or both (see below)\
The workshop is open to all ages.

Session 1 (10 participant max)
Monday August 21 - Thursday August 24, 2023
2-5PM

Session 2 (10 participant max)
Monday August 28 - Thursday August 31, 2023
2-5PM

The workshop is free of charge. Snacks and refreshment are provided during the workshop.

Public Performance on Saturday September 9
At the end of the workshops, a group of 3 to 5 participants will be selected to take part in the public performance in the main gallery of The Invisible Dog for a opening reception of Camille de Galbert’s solo exhibition launching the season 15.

Performers will receive an artist fee for the public performance

In your application must contain:
- In the object of the email: Summer Workshop
- Which session(s) you would like to attend.
- Three lines about why you want to participate to the workshop.
- A little bit about you (your gender, your age, your occupation, your dreams…).
- Your application must be short and precise.
- If you are less than 16 year old, we need a written authorization from your parents.
