Monday-Friday// 9am-5pm
Taught by Resident Artists and Guest Artists of The Hartford Dance Collective, we will dive into the world of contemporary dance and discover the relevance of contemporary training in today’s professional dance scene. Focusing on performance techniques and teamwork, we will dive into elements of dance that we have not been able to practice for the past year. This intensive focuses on each students’ personal goals in dance to help them achieve the training they are looking for. Each two week program culminates in a choreography showcase on the last Friday of the session, open for friends and family to view in person or via virtual livestream.
10 spots available to hard-working passionate teens ages 13-19. All experience and skill levels are welcome.
This program is in studio learning only and will not have a virtual option. Strict CDC guidelines for Covid protocols will be followed including mask wearing at all times, extra sanitation & hand washing, and social distancing. Participants are responsible for bringing daily lunch, appropriate attire for dancing including a leotard & tights, ballet shoes, jazz shoes, sneakers, and socks.
