NYC Dancers & Beyond! We are thrilled to announce the details of our 2022 Summer Intensive! The intensive will take place from July 25-29, 2022. This is a hybrid intensive. Dancers are welcome to join us either in-person at our Middlebrook Arts Research + Residency Center in Upstate, NY, or virtually through Zoom. Our Upstate NY property will offer in-person and housing options for the intensive.

The BodyStories Summer Intensive aims to continue our mission of unleashing creativity and empowering our dancers. During this week-long intensive, dancers will take part in a variety of classes taught by Teresa Fellion, BodyStories company members, and guest artists. The intensive invites pre-professional, professional, and all movers interested in exploring movement as a tool to build channels of expression, self-exploration, and the relationship between art + activism.
Classes throughout the intensive will be leading up to an exciting dance film and live showing that all dancers will have the opportunity to contribute to and take part in both as a group and through individual mentorship. Other activities during the week include discussions, guest teachings, late-night improv, movie nights, outings, and more! Come join us at our beautiful Upstate NY location and connect with yourself and others while honing your dance skills and technique.
We will be offering in person as well as virtual participation and dancers may sign up for the full intensive, one class for the full week, select days, or single drop-in classes.
In-person participants are required to show proof of vaccination. COVID policies are subject to change.
*Rates:
In-person, for the week: $225.00
Virtual, for the week: $150.00
Drop-in class fee: $17.00
Housing fee (if needed) - $150.00
