Master Class with Gemma Bond and Jake Roxander

In celebration of the Clive Barnes Awards, Gemma Bond (2017 Clive Barnes Honored Artist) will host a Master Class open to all levels with special guest Jake Roxander, American Ballet Theatre Soloist and 2023 Clive Barnes Honored Artist. This two-hour session begins with a ballet technique warm up taught by Jake, followed by a contemporary choreography workshop with Gemma. The session will delve into where inspiration comes from and how to translate it into original choreography. Through a series of task-based exercises, participants will develop their own variations, encouraging individual style and artistic voice. A Q&A with Gemma will conclude the evening.
